Acupuncture & Natural Health: Minnesota’s Infertility Experts…
Posted by mileylabs under minnesota , acupuncture , infertilityJohn Miley, L.Ac. is a leading acupuncture infertility expert located in Minnesota, operating Acupuncture & Natural Health, a natural health clinic specializing in infertility and women’s health concerns.
John Miley’s reputation for helping couples successfully overcome infertility, using acupuncture and alternative therapies, has been clearly proven with a highly successful track-record (over 70% positive outcome) since 1999.
Dozens of couples return to Acupuncture & Natural Health’s clinic each year to introduce us to their newborn babies, and credit their work here as crucial to their successful conception and healthy pregnancies.
As an alternative approach to conventional Western treatments, acupuncture can be an effective stand-alone approach to resolving fertility issues, and as research is proving, using acupuncture for infertility has been something Asian cultures have relied upon, successfully, for centuries.
For couples interested in combining acupuncture infertility treatments with western treatments (such as IVF, IUI and similar interventions), we can work with you to optimize your body’s ability to conceive, while working to co-ordinate your efforts with those being carried out by your medical doctor or primary care provider.
Acupuncture works to support your natural ability to conceive, removing barriers to conception (whether physical, dietary, emotional or even all of the above!) while encouraging your body’s optimal functioning in ways that support your body, and help you get pregnant.
Typically, your initial visit includes a complete health assessment in order to learn more about what you have tried in the past (to conceive), and where you are presently in your journey toward pregnancy.
Every person has a different story, and each treatment is designed to meet your specific needs. Once your core imbalances have been identified, your initial visit will also include a complete acupuncture treatment.
Follow-up appointments may take place once or twice per week, and are recommended for at least 8 weeks, but preferably a minimum of 90 days. It takes your body about 90 days to show the full effects of acupuncture treatments, and it is generally recognized that your hormonal levels take about three months to show signs of improvement.

And if you are looking to read more about success stories with acupuncture and infertility, you can find some interesting case studies on our site, as well.
Whatever you decide to do along your path to conception, you would be wise to investigate the many documented ways in which acupuncture can increase your fertility, nearly double your chances of conceiving with IVF (see study results) and is invaluable in its ability to help you relax your mind, body and spirit.
When your mind and body are relaxed and co-ordinated, your body instantly becomes more optimized for conception. So don’t wait for things to “happen on their own”–because sometimes you don’t need to do more, you need someone to help your body do less (less stress, less worry, less frustration!) and acupuncture for infertility can help you do just that.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office (see contact information)–we also create special programs to optimize fertility for couples who live far away from us, or out-of-state. Be sure to ask about those options if you want to do and “at-home” fertility program, with us as your coaching support!
May your answers to your infertility questions be answered soon.

I find a holistic program including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, dietary therapy and lifestyle changes effectively addresses infertility issues. In the clinic we see couples who embark on a focused fertility program often get pregnant in 3-6 months. With more extreme cases of PCOS, endometriosis and male factor, it may take 6-12 months. Even with IVF cases, we find that a minimum of 3 months of preparation significantly increases success rates…much more than just getting acupuncture treatments around the time of embryo transfer.
